The Weatherization Assistance Program has served low-income families for more than 30 years. The President announced plans to weatherize more than 1 million homes across America as part of a plan to reduce energy consumption and the burden of high utility bills for low-income families.

Under the Stimulus Plan (American Recovery & Reinvestment Act – ARRA), these services are now being offered to households with more moderate income levels. The chart below displays the current income eligibility guidelines:
